Be different - Stand out fron the rest

3 weeks ago, I received a call from a friend contacted me about her home in Bedok North Street 3,  Block 543 and she would like me to take a look at her house and discussed how to go about marketing it. It is a 4 NG model and she has been marketed for about 3 months and couldn't get it sold. I tis a high floor unit, breezy & unbocked. I also checked on her asking price and found out that her asking price is reasonable  & shouldn't have any issue ! 

Visited her home and found out that’s a mess and visually unappealing with so much unnecessary furniture and furnishings. There are cracks that need spackling, walls that need cleaning, and ceiling that should be patched. There’s plenty of clutter, but no warmth. Her potential buyers may be  turned off after the viewings. By asking the buyers what they remember about it, they are confused. Too many colors, furniture and possessions make it difficult for people to concentrate on the property. Our eyes tire very quickly; the more we  see in a room, the less we can process—it’s called stimulus overload. When there is too much to see, we don’t see anything ! 

I told her  this home deserved some form of design and conceptualization techniques. The objective is to have  potential buyers walk in and envision the property as their home. They can see themselves living and entertaining there. It’s all about creating a space that makes buyers connect emotionally to it. They should feel as if they were the owner, not a guest.

Thanks to my super efficient furnishing team, who has been always so supportive and creative. Now, the house looks so DIFFERENT !
